Young Learners Teacher Training Course (Developing)

Learn the latest methods, principles, and practices in teaching Very Young Learners (aged between 3 and 6) and Young Learners (aged between 7 and 12), and understand how to plan your lessons using the latest coursebooks. This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to potentially target learners in upper age groups as well.

Divided into eight modules, this foundation level course is scheduled as follows:
The course will begin on the first Monday of next month. Throughout the course, you will be able to learn at your own pace and at your convenience to suit your schedule. Participants will have four weeks to complete the course. However, they can access the program content for a period of five weeks. Two weeks ahead of the course, a free-of-charge compulsory orientation program (Week Zero) will be offered to enhance your online learning skills.
Young Learners Teacher Training Developing-Level Course is designed for novice and experienced teachers and administrators interested in developing their teaching skills for learners aged between three and thirteen. If you are already a teacher of YLs, then this course is for you to unlearn outdated practices, learn the latest trends, and best practices in teaching children.

MLA24.com online courses are asynchronous (i.e. you can log in any time). You should plan to spend approximately ten hours a week. Each module offers a variety of interactive tasks including video clips, readings, discussions, projects, and quizzes. You must score 70% or higher on each module’s quiz to qualify for the next module. Once you have successfully completed the the course, you will receive a certificate of completion detailing your hours of professional development during the program. All course materials are available via the Learning Management System accessable through MLA24.com. Please note that the registration fee covers the cost of the materials and the e-certificate.
